Brendon Ursomanno, DDS is not only a proficient Board Eligible Periodontist but also a practitioner who takes a comprehensive approach to periodontics, emphasizing patient-centered care and integrated treatment strategies. His educational journey began with a solid foundation in dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Thesis Honors from the University At Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in May 2020.

Driven by his passion for periodontics, Dr. Brendon pursued advanced education at New York University, completing the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics in June 2023. During his tenure at New York University, he developed expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of periodontal and implant dentistry cases. His training encompassed both non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapies, including surgical extraction, socket preservation, ridge augmentation, and implant placement. Notably, Dr. Brendon’s approach is marked by his commitment to comprehensive principles, ensuring that treatments are tailored to each patient’s unique needs while promoting overall health and well-being.

In addition to his clinical pursuits, Dr. Brendon has been actively engaged in research, contributing significantly to the advancement of dental science. His research endeavors at the University at Buffalo focused on assessing implant restoration conditions in patients taking specific medications, yielding results deemed significant for further studies. Furthermore, his research assistantship at the Department of Biology, College of Staten Island, allowed him to explore various facets of genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbiology, further enriching his understanding of comprehensive processes relevant to dentistry.

Dr. Brendon‘s dedication to excellence and service has been recognized through various awards and honors, including the Clinical Excellence Award in Periodontics from New York University and the Lester Schatz Memorial Award from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Committed to giving back to his community, he has volunteered with Remote Area Medical (RAM) in Smyth County, Virginia, and presented his research findings at the Crohn’s and Colitis Congress Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Brendon is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, demonstrating his leadership and dedication to service. Dr. Brendon is licensed in both New York and New Jersey. With his comprehensive approach to periodontics and unwavering commitment to patient care, he is poised to continue making significant contributions to the field, guided by his passion for excellence and integrated wellness.
